Happy Thanksgiving!

to:

all our family and friends we are not with... we love you all very much and miss you more than ever now during this holiday season. We are so thankful to this place the Lord has brought us to, it is such a blessing to have some family here with us, close friends and a new church family to share this thanksgiving day with.  We cant be happier in the midst of missing all that is so precious to us.

~all our love

Psalm 100:4-5

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations."

the baby has arrived!

Jeff's new car arrived last night at 9:15pm on a big 2-trailer diesel truck from LA! (It was cheaper to have it shipped that to go down to LA to get the car and pay taxes.)

So the 2004 Audi S4 has arrived and got its first bath this morning!  It is beautiful and Jeff is thrilled (no, you cant tell, but he is!)

Sophia got up this morning and ran to the garage and came back in saying " THAT IS SOOO COOL"!  And the girls got escorted to school in the new car too!

I Timothy 2:1-3

"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior,"

Romans 13: 1-5

"Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God.  So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow.  For the authorities do not frighten people who are doing right, but they frighten those who do wrong. So do what they say, and you will get along well.  The authorities are sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for you will be punished. The authorities are established by God for that very purpose, to punish those who do wrong.  So you must obey the government for two reasons: to keep from being punished and to keep a clear conscience."

'Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to ask your forgiveness, And to seek your direction and guidance.  We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.  We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.  We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.  We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.  We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.  We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbors possessions and called it ambition.  We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.  We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!'     ~ Billy Graham

is my baby really almost 2?
October 31st

After school the girls rushed home and threw on their costumes (they weren't allowed to wear them to school) then we rushed to the Old Mills (shops and restaurants along the river) to 'trick-or-treat' for a bit with our friend Ameila. Then we went to the Dungan's where we ate homemade chili and corn bread (made by Kate's parents), it was delicious! Then we all headed out to tick-or-treat' some more around the neighborhood! The kids had a blast! Between Taylor loosing all her candy out of the bottom of her bucket twice, Sophia tripping on peoples porch steps multiple times, and Olivia trading her already sucked on loli-pops for fresh ones right out of a neighbors candy bowl (yes, she would put the sticky 'used' one back in their bowl to trade for a new one), the kids has us laughing and on our toes! They sure are a funny group of kids - the 3 amigo(a) cats and Galenda, Dorthy and the Lion!

Thanks for a fun night Dungan's!

Kate and I dressed up as the our husbands! It is kind of a joke cause they ALWAYS were their BF shirts, so we thought it would be funny to "be" them! Kate and i drew on a beard and go-tee and wore their t-shirts. It was only really funny to us i think, but what is life without some fun! Jeff couldnt wait for me to wipe off the 'go-tee', haha!
