once again... unfailing love

when i am willing to hear, when at am at the end of myself, when i am broken... What i see as bad, He sees as good, and makes it to be good for me, to magnify His name, no matter the situation...

the sister gift exchange...

Tiffany got Sophia 'art with melty beads', but in large form for her tiny finger to handle, she was so excited we even had to make a flower this evening!

Sophia got Tiffany a 'light brite'. at one point tiffany Sophia, Nana and Auntie were all working on the same picture together!

Olivia got a 'my first piggy bank'...she loved it! Although the unwrapping thing is all new, Olivia seemed to catch on pretty quick!

Christmas program

Sophia had her Christmas program today. She had so much fun picking out the perfect dress to wear and getting all dressed-up as her teachers told her to do! The class sang 4 songs and Sophia did a great job standing there smiling but she couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to sing...she did a great job! We got a home-made ornament that she made and Sophia received an Eric Carle book, "Today is Monday", from her teachers. The last picture is Sophia and her best friend Belle, too cute!

you BBQ even in the snow! Oh yes we did, cheddar and bacon stuffed hamburgers...and oh yes, they were as delicious as they sound! Olivia loves them too !

Sophia's first snowman

after we took tiffany to school we walked across the street to the little park and made our first snowman. We had a ball! We found 2 branches for his arms, 2 pieces of bark for his eyes, Sophia brought a pretzel stick from home for her snowman's nose (we didn't have any carrots), and of course he borrowed Sophia's scarf!

She also tried some sledding but was a little slow going, not quit enough snow yet for that.

The sun pops out every once in a while and the snow just sparkles, it truly is beautiful!

as we were walking home Sophia said, "it really feels like Christmas now"!

the beginning of Christmas baking

last night we made chocolate dipped pretzels, some rolled in crushed candy canes and others in coconut. Was fun and messy and after i got stabbed with a chocolate covered pretzel and after we had to do a taste-test we went upstairs and read some of our christmas books and stories... tis the season, I LOVE IT!

Olivia got her ears pierced yesterday on her 11 month old birthday! She cried but did great and doesnt even notice them now!

P.S. i am still trying to figure out how to use my camera. it is hard with a moving subject. the camera has a mind of its own and i have no idea what to tellit to do...lol...bare with me!
